Lawrence Stoeckley Obituary
Lawrence R. "Larry" Stoeckley, age 70, of Toledo, died March 29, 2020 at the Lakes of Sylvania. He was born July 1, 1949 in Toledo to the late Lawrence W. "Bud" and Thelma (Beltz) Stoeckley. Larry graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1967 and went on to a career with the railroad. He retired in 1988 from CSX where he was a brakeman and conductor. Following retirement, he designed websites for several local companies.
Larry was a classic car enthusiast and his 1957 Ford Thunderbird was a common sight at local car shows and "cruise-ins". He was the treasurer and webmaster for the Maumee Valley Thunderbird Club. Outgoing and friendly, Larry will also be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Surviving is his wife of more than 41 years, Patricia M. (Cousino) Stoeckley; and his son, Steven.
Larry will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Hey buddy-we still miss you and speak of you at nearly every T-bird club meeting. we're getting a new website but will try to follow what you set up. We are encouraged that Pat and Steve still come to meetings.

larry and I worked at csx together. I am glad to see he took the buy out and enjoyed the rest of his life with his family.sorry for your loss and god bless. jack Wlodarz queen cree k az. we all will miss his wit.

Larry help us with our website and was very nice person. He brought his car over to show us and we made a couple of parts for his car that he couldn't find. We will miss Larry. RIP

We first met Larry at local car shows, and he was always friendly and easy to talk to. He told us about the Thunderbird Club and invited us to join. We don't have a Thunderbird but that was okay with him - anybody who has fun driving their car was welcome as far as he was concerned. I enjoyed his sly humor and we shared many emails in getting the club's newsletter compiled. My husband and I will miss him. We hope we still see his family at car shows and club meetings.
