Grandpa was a great soul. He was alway smiling, and never really let anything get to him, or keep him down for long. The whole time he was sick, he never complained. He was so good to grandma, and to all of us really. My only regret was that i lived so far away and didnt get to spend more time with such a wonderful human being!
I will miss you always grandpa!

Sue, Tom, Dan, John and Rob: So many memories fill my mind while thinking of the Alt family. Three ten Buckeye Street was THE place to be as a kid in Genoa. Len was truly one-of-a-kind and his spirit will continue to live within all his children. My love to all of you.

Dear Sally, Rob and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Leonard's passing. I just received the obituary late yesterday afternoon from Dave Gravel. Laurie and I moved to Hawaii shortly after I retired in April and news doesn't travel quite as fast over here. It was a pleasure working for Leonard at the Post Office in Perrysburg. Actually, it was a lot of fun back then, probably the last time I REALLY enjoyed working for the Post Office!! I'm sure both of you can relate to that! Leonard enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and tomorrow during this very difficult time.

Sally--We are saddened by your loss, but we are mindful that his illness and discomfort are now ended. He lived a very full life, and I know you added much happiness to it. How grateful we are to have had the chance for lunch and such a nice visit last month. We will keep that memory and all the other great ones in our hearts.
