Leonard L.

Leonard L. Hoyt, 63, of Waldron, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2016, at his home. He was born September 14, 1952, the son of Lloyd Beem and Geraldine Grace (Captin) Hoyt. He married Annette Tokles in Toledo, Ohio in 1975, and she survives.
Leonard graduated from Bedford High School Class of 1970, served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era, then spent most of his days as a truck driver before retiring to his love of farming. He had a love of riding his motorcycle as he road with Ghost Riders of Addison, American Legion and Riders of Kunkle.
Surviving Leonard are his daughter, Melanie Hoyt; his grandson, Zane Esik Hoyt of Perrysburg, Ohio; his mother, Geraldine Hoyt of Waldron, Michigan; a sister, Deborah (Jeff) Clayton of Zephyrhills, Florida; and his girl friend, Tammara M. Smith. He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be a visitation for Leonard on Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Fayette, Ohio 43521, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Waldron Friendly Tavern. A scattering of ashes with a memorial motorcycle run will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016, with the proceeds to benefit the American Kidney Association.
