Lewis DANFORD Obituary

DANFORD Lewis E. "Lew" Lewis E."Lew" Danford, age 85, of Rossford, OH, passed away on the 26th of September, 2011. Mr. Danford was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Dussel). He is survived by his three children, Bonnie Danford of Toledo, OH, Timothy Danford (Beth) of Rossford, OH and Carolyn Bear (Charles) of Silverthorne CO. He is also survived by three grand children, Joshua Ruziscka (Jennifer), Alex Danford, Paige Danford, and two great grandchildren, Brady and Savannah Ruziscka. Mr. Danford was a member of the Rossford United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the church choir for many years. He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman and loved recounting stories of adventures on Lake Erie and the Maumee River. Lew's sense of humor and zest for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends and especially by his good friend, Nancy Stonerock. Mr. Danford was a veteran of WWII and was retired from Libbey Owens Ford. There was cremation. Memorial arrangements are pending. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to The Rossford United Methodist Church (419-666-5323), "Lewis Danford Memorial Fund".
