I loved running into Linda at the office -- we always had something to chat about. When I had computer meltdowns, she was always willing and able to fix any problem. She was brilliant, and I told her this often.

We will miss her terribly, but I know Linda will continue to be with us in our NPS community -- in our memories, our stories, and in our hearts. We will think of her often and remember her exuberance and her happy face.

To her family: I wish you peace and healing. Please know how much Linda meant to those she helped, worked with, and befriended. We were very lucky to have had her with us for awhile -- thank you for sharing a lovely member of your family.

What a lovely tribute to Linda. I am so glad you had your recent vacation together and so many wonderful family memories.

I am relieved to know that she drifted into her last sleep on Sunday, August 16, peacfully, in her own bed.

I noticed that she her journey through life lead her to many locations and she was quite the free spirit ( I knew that by her smile). Even though she must have hated to leave her loving family, her destination now is the most beautiful of all the places she has lived. Can just picture her smile on her arrival.

Love Na

My thoughts are with all of you.

To Pat, Jim and the Haddad Family. I was so shocked to hear about my friend Linda. While I worked at Saguaro NP Linda and I shared a office together and became great friends. She gave me the best going away party at her house when I left. She was so wonderful. I will miss her so.

To Linda's family:
I like how it says in Linda's obituary that you will be holding a "celebration" to honor Linda's life! That shows me two things: One... as most people would want at their funerals... It's not to be sorrowful but to celebrate the good that the individual has left behind! Two: She must have been quite a person! I love the wording of honoring! I'm sure that's what her husband, family, and especially dogs did every day!!
We will be praying that the Lord comforts you in this time!
We love you Ted!

Dear Jim, Pat and the Haddad Family,

I was saddened to hear about Linda's passing. I remember when Saguaro National Park staff hired Linda. We weren't totally sure who we were getting as our new computer guru, but as it turned out, she became one of the most respected and best in the National Park Service. She knew how to work with difficult people, how to plan lots of complex work and how to succeed. I will always remember the work she did on the park's network, enlisting volunteers and getting her many projects done.

Linda will be missed by everyone she came into contact with as she was an exceptional, warm human being. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family and with the Saguaro National Park Staff.
