KETTMAN

Linda

Linda Kettman, age 66, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, April 24, 2014, at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. She was born January 3, 1948, in Streator, IL to Ervin and Camilla Svetz; both deceased. On September 12, 1970, she married her loving husband, Ron Kettman.

Linda lived most of her married life in Perrysburg, Ohio, and in 2003, moved permanently to Florida to

enjoy the sunshine, palm trees and ocean that she

always loved.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ron; son, Curtis (Franci) Kettman, of Titusville, Florida; daughter, Rhonda (Tony) Blair, and grandchildren, Avery and Lauren Blair of Maumee, Ohio.

Linda will be remembered for her love of life, people and animals. She had a passion for cooking, which eventually resulted in her starting up her own catering business, Coqui Catering, and pouring her efforts into creating a recipe book of the Kettman family recipes for all relatives to enjoy. She had a big heart for animals ever since she was a young child, and discovered her love of cats later in life, which eventually led her to volunteering at the SPCA, when she lived in Titusville, Florida. She had a great spirit for adventure which allowed her to embrace and thoroughly enjoy a year in Puerto Rico when her husband had a job transfer, as well as many other travels in her lifetime. She was a

go-getter in her career, her greatest accomplishments being the purchase of a residential house cleaning business with her husband in 1988, which they operated for 15 years together, and establishing her catering business, which she operated for several years. She will forever be remembered as a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at the Maumee Elks Lodge, 139 W. Wayne Street, Maumee, Ohio on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow directly after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brevard County Humane Society, 1020 Cox Rd, Cocoa, FL 32909 or William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Pkwy, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
