Loretta J. "Nana" Schrader, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Parkcliffe Community. She was born in Toledo, OH on December 21, 1934 to Lawrence and Florence (Hudson) Bounward. Loretta grew up in South Toledo and graduated third in her class from Notre Dame Academy in 1952. She married the love of her life Dick Schrader on February 7, 1955. Loretta spent her 50 year career as a Bank Teller with Toledo Trust which eventually became Key Bank. She was well known by all her customers as a caring woman who remembered each person by name and could be seen giving out suckers to all the children who visited her branch. Loretta was an extremely proud mother of her daughter Sheri, and spent many hours following her sporting activities. Family was very important to Loretta. In her spare time she also enjoyed camping, crocheting, and traveling. Loretta was a member of the OLPH Altar and Rosary Society for many years. After her retirement, Loretta looked forward to her annual trips with Dick to Florida - although they couldn't stay away too long because they had to get back to see their 2 granddaughters who meant the world to her. In the recent years Loretta was very active with her great grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Disney World and Las Vegas with them as well as their normal Saturday evening ritual of attending church followed by family dinner.

Loretta is survived by her loving daughter, Sheri Schrader Johnson; granddaughters, Amanda (Todd) Karazim and Alyse (Chip) Wineland; great-grandchildren, Brady, Kenzley, Jackson, and Beckett Karazim and Caden Wineland; brothers-in-law, Vern Schneider and Roy Schrader; nephews, Larry (Pat) Schneider and Tom (Mary Ann) Schneider; and niece, Connie (Joe) Jockett.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick; sisters, Mary Schneider and Catherine Provo; and son-in-law, Michael Johnson.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 434 Western Ave Toledo, OH, on Saturday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Toledo Memorial Park.
