Lucretia CURTIS Obituary

CURTIS Lucretia J. Lucretia J. Curtis passed away peacefully Sunday, June 6, 2010, in her home with her family gathered around her. She was born February 16, 1933, in McCutchenville, OH, of Seneca County to Merle and Zola Rare. Lucretia was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker, and retired from Ohio Bell/AT&T. She is survived by her husband, John Curtis; sons, Rodney (Pam), Dan (Laura), Brent (Jody); grandchildren, Brandon and Mark, Nicholas, Natalie and Erin, Jon and Julianne; and great-grand daughter, Elizabeth. She is also survived by sister, Dorothy Shuff of Tiffin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra K.; brothers, James and John Earl; and sisters, Laura Anna and Irma Mae. Visitation will be held at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Thursday, June 10 from 2 to 9 PM. Funeral service will take place at Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville, Ohio, at 11 AM on Friday with a short visitation starting at 10 AM at the church. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucretia's name to a charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be shared at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
