Marcella Parker Obituary

Marcella Ann (Wright) Parker

Our loving mother, Marcella Parker, was a light in all of our lives, and on August 13th, 2025, our Heavenly Father called her home. Marcella was exceptionally kind and loving, especially to her children and grandchildren, but to know her was to be loved by her. Her smile lit any room she entered and while this world is a little darker without her, her loved ones are comforted to know Heaven is that much brighter.

Marcella was born August 13th, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to William Leon Wright and Ivalu Lavonne Wright. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dwayne Wright; her sister, Patricia Rush; and her son, Shawn Parker. She worked for Sylvania City Schools for 30+ years and made plenty of life long friendships. Marcella's greatest legacy is her loving family who will miss her dearly. Her children, Lori Meehan, Jodi (Virginia Kline) Maher and Sara (Scott) Adair; and her grandchildren, Jenni (Wade) Carson and Shawn Maher will forever remember her as the strong, generous, devoted and adoring woman she was. She was exceedingly proud of them all.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to True Purpose Ministries Men's Rehabilitation Program at www.truepurposeministries.com.
