I was in 5th grade with "Lambie". I remember that she tried to make everyone laugh. I wanted to sit next to her in class because I thought she was the coolest girl in school!

To Mr. Stout, Elizabeth and Lisa,
I'm glad I had the pleasure of knowing Lambie. She was a sweet, kind, smart, beautiful and down to earth young lady.I too lost my sister to cancer in June this year. I still have my moments, but I find comfort in knowing I don't have to watch her suffer anymore while there was nothing I could do to take away her pain. Think of all the wonderful moments you had with Lambie and that will ease some of the pain.And remember God only takes the best.May God bless you and keep you. I was a camp counselor at YMCA Storer Camps in Michigan when I had the joy of meeting Lambie. She was a camper with boundless enthusiasm, great humor and a gentleness that is hard to find. I will treasure the memories I have of the time I got to spend with her.

I baby sat Lissa, Lambie and Chipper Guyton when they were toddlers and Lambie has been a joy and a pleasure since her childhood. Like the rest of her family, Lambie always seemed to put the needs of others first, and was always working for the greater good. Even when aquiring her dog Lucy, she rescued a homeless dog instead of taking an easier route and buying from a breeder. It may seem like a small act but it was one of so many things Lambie did putting the needs of others first. That was Lambie and that is her whole family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Lambie was a pleasure to know and will be so missed.

Dear family of Lambie,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Lambie was a year ahead of me at MV, so we had several classes together. She was funny and vivacious, always making me laugh. She was a good person with a kind heart. It sounds like Lambie fought a long, hard battle with breast cancer. Cancer, in a word, sucks. She will be missed by all.

I was so sad to hear the news of Lambie's death. She was two years ahead of me at MV, so I didn't know her well, but I can remember looking up to her and hearing her laughter often in those halls.
Reading her obituary, it's clear to me that her life revolved around helping others and sharing her intelligence and energy, even when she herself was unwell. I'm hoping your wonderful memories of her will help soften your grief in the days ahead.

John,Liz,Richard and I are deeply saddened. Our family loved and admired Lambie. But then,anyone fortunate enough to have known Lambie just loved her .
We'll always remember Lambie's incredible depth of kindness, her high intelligence,her genuine capacity for goodness and her amazing and constant commitment to reaching out to help others,even as she struggled so long and so courageously with her illness.

I was so sorry to see this news yesterday. It's been a long time since we were all together on River Road, but I certainly hold those memories dear. Mike, Elizabeth, Prescilla, Fred, Lissa Chip - Deb and I have you all in our prayers and thoughts. Lambie has touched the lives of each of us in the Knight family. She was the foundation and strength which helped Debbie fight her own battle with cancer. She was a close friend with Lisa, Ryan and Dokk and all of their families. We will all miss her, but we remain, all of us in this life, resolved to help Elizabeth and Mike in any way we can. I truly believe that Lambie has not left us. She is only gone from our sight. Like a ship upon the sea that sails over the horizon, and sails from our sight, there are others on the other shore who can now see her. Those who are welcoming her. Someday, we will see her on the other side. Our love and affection for her spirit will help carry her to the other shore.

Lambie came to our house for dinner when we lived in near The Hague and she was participating in the Mini United Nations. We though that this charming and intelligent girl would have a wonderful future. It is so sad the know that her life was cut short at 42.

Lissa & family- I enjoyed so much getting to know Lambie on the Komen Board. She was a valued contributing member and even brought her delicious Comfort Crunch to our Board retreat. It is difficult to understand or explain why the bright & shining stars fade away from our view too soon. I knew her briefly; her infectious joy was immediately apparent. My thoughts are with each and every one of you. Lambie is my oldest childhood friend and I have such fond and wonderful thoughts of our friendship. We remained equally as close as adult women sharing life's joys and challenges. Lambie was the first one to welcome Jack and I back to Perrysburg hosting a gathering at her home with family and friends. This is only one example of how thoughtful of a person and friend that Lambie was to not only myself but to countless others. Lambie was the bravest person that I have ever known and will forever be an inspiration to me and many others. She was an Angel here on Earth and now in Heaven. Lambi was truly amazing. She was one of those few special people who leaves a life-long impression. I nearly always laughed when I was with Lambi as she didn't take herself (or me) too seriously. She always made me feel special and important; it was great being with her. I'm so happy to have known her and had her in my life and very sad to have had that time cut short.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Lambie's untimely death..she was strong and so positive when my husband was ill with cancer at the same time.. she mailed him trail mix, cookies and had him drinking a Lambie cocktail..I know how much our daughter, Mary Koury, admired and appreciated her genuine concern for others even when she was fighting such a battle herself..I never met her her, but I know the world is a better place from her short time on this earth..my prayers are with you and your family..
