Margarita Hyslop

Margarita Hyslop, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born on May 18, 1955, in Bowling Green, she embraced life with a spirited personality that shone through her love for family and friends. Professionally, Margarita worked as an administrative assistant, and later for Workman's Comp.

Margarita found joy in many pursuits: fishing, racing, dancing, traveling and gardening. She also enjoyed a glass of wine. What brought her the most fulfillment was spending time with her family and loved ones. Her pride in her family was evident, and she was particularly proud to have been a Jehovah's Witness.

Margarita is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Crampton; her cherished grandchildren, Devin (Haley) and Tyler Crampton; and her great-grandchild, Lorenzo Crampton. She also leaves behind her siblings, Rita (Thomas), Noe' (Debbie), David (Colleen), Irene (Larry), and Ruth (Dan). She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hyslop; son, Charlie Gumtow; granddaughter, Samara Braun; parents, Felipe and Maria Rodriguez; and brothers, Ricardo, Oscar, and Renee' Rodriguez.

Margarita's life was honored on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel.
