Carmen will live on in everyone's heart. She touched my life like no one else ever has. I miss her voice, her laugh, and most of all her hugs. Rest in peace my dear Carmen. The seniors and I will never forget you.

Louis: I extend my sympathy to you over Carmen. Everyone from the Senior Center will miss her. We all expected her to live forever. Now we will need you to visit regularly to help to cheer up the Seniors!!!You know Carmen would have wanted you to do that. I wish I had a chance to see you at her Mass, however, I did not see you there. She was such a popular lady the whole big church was almost full!!!She spoke of you and your children everytime I worked with her. I know what a close family you were. If you are lonely and want to meet with all of us at McDonald's you are welcome any morning and here & there we take an afternoon break. Take Care. Please call me if I can help you out. Lori Bowles (419)265-2573 Sorry I did not get a chance to talk with you at McDonald's today. Thank you.

Pete & Michelle & family,
I just wanted to say that i'm very grateful for having met your mother. As i read all of these entries, i feel that the world has lost a very special person. Even though i have only met her once, her hospitality and kindness will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Maria was a beautiful and funny woman. Her art of cooking will also not be forgotten. The memories of her stuffing me with her great enchiladas will stay with me forever.

I enjoyed picking my Grandfather, Carmen Cervantez up from the senior center. I was always greeted by Carmen F. with a big smile and a hug, as if I was her own family. In a way I was, she treated not only my Grandfather like family, she was that way with every senior there. I am sadden to know that I will not be able to see her outside sweeping or doing yard work. May she rest in peace.

I do not know Maria or her family, but I was touched by the beautiful obituary the family shared. Maria seems like the very person we would all want in our lives. I pray that you draw strength from Gods comfort with her passing. Blessings
