LANGENDERFER Marilyn R. Marilyn R. Langenderfer, 90, of Swanton, OH, passed away Friday April 22, 2011, at Flower Hospital. Marilyn was truly remarkable. She farmed with her husband for more than 70 years, at the same time raising 8 children. Marilyn loved to sew, making countless quilts, pillow cases, baby blankets, and towels, for her family and friends to enjoy. She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Teresa Langenderfer, Sharon (Donnie) Vaughn, Joyce (Roger Hendryx) Meller and Renee (Andrew) Garrow; sons, Darryl (Deborah), Thomas (JoAnn), Terrence (Judi) Langenderfer; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Romain O. Langenderfer; son, Romain J. Langenderfer; sisters, Lenore Buechele and Marcine Turk, and brothers, Harlon and Johnny Karmol. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Wednesday April 27th from 4 - 9 PM, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marygrove, where Marilyn was a former member of the church Altar and Rosary Society. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Romain at the church cemetery.
