Marjorie Preston Obituary
Marjorie Rose "Margie" Preston, age 86, of Maumee, passed away November 21, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital. Marjorie was born August 23, 1936 in Maumee to Leonard and Madelyn (Shuman) Bellner.
She was a graduate of Maumee High School and worked for the City of Maumee for 29 years as the Tax Commissioner until her retirement. She spent some of her retirement years in Florida and South Carolina before returning to Ohio. In her free time, Margie enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing cards, especially her poker nights.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Tim (Kelly) Dinkens, Kelly (Garry) Reed, Randy (Mary Schuchard) Dinkens; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; loving husbands, Virgil Dinkens and Kenny Preston; sister, Shirley Young.
As Margie wished, there will not be any funeral services held.

Kelly & Gary, Tim & Kelly,:Randy & Mary,
I just learned of your Mom's passing and please know my thoughts & prayers & love are with you all. I loved your Mom and have such great memories of our trips to Florida & South Carolina that I wouldn't trade for the world. She was a great lady and made me feel like family and for that I will always be grateful. I hope your memories help to get you all through this difficult time. Love to all of you!!
