Dear Virginia,Lori,Trista,& Family,
MY belief is he is in Jesus arms.I am so thankful he is out of pain, I'm so glad he got to hold Griffin, & he just adored Marlie. Believing we'll all join him one day. He was a beautiful baby and Linda, his sister & I had so much fun watching him when we were teenagers. He got into everything especially pasting his mother's S&H green stamps all over the closet while hiding in there, then he got out the door and went after Mr. Frosty, the ice cream truck. There are so many other loving Memories, the great thing is we can love him thru all eternity when it's our turn. Thanks for your visits when you came to Buffalo. God Bless you all, and I share your sorrow. Love your cousin , Sally & Neil

Virginia, Lori & Trista
We met Mark many years ago, and the first thing you see is his Smile followed by his outgoing personality. He was fun to be around and the life of the party. We never had a conversation that he did not brag (a good thing) about Trista and Lori and their accomplishment is their life he was very proud of both of you. He had a great love for his family. Mark you will be missed by many, but never ever forgotton. Our prayers go out to the family to remain strong, remember you will always have the great memories you have all made together.

To the Militello Family:
As director of the University of Toledo Division of Organization Development, I worked with Mark in a variety of capacities. With Heidtman Steel, he was my client. When Mark joined the University College Board, he became my colleague. Later, he was simply my friend. Mark overcame adversity to achieve success in education, in work and with family. Learning and the promotion of education became a driving force in his life. I have met few individuals with Mark's vitality, commitment and dedication to helping others. He never allowed his illness to interfere with his mission in life. Mark's infectious smile and competitive spirit will long be remembered. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. I am proud to have known Mark Militello. He made all of us better human beings.

Mark worked for me when he left the Jeep plant and "moved up" to the corporate world of Chrysler. He was a bundle of ambition, had lots of energy and was a genuine guy.

To Mark's family, I came today with my son JP to see the man that I have prayed for each night since my son had told me about Mark. I felt I knew him from all the wonderful things my son would tell me about Mark. JP had the upmost admiration for him. He was his mentor, boss, friend and someone that he respected very much.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I lost my Mother when she was only 50 and it is the greatest loss and heartache. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Our deepest sympathy,
Helen Germann & John Perry a.k.a.JP

I knew Mark from Chrysler back in 1995 when we worked 24/7 on a supplier project in Detroit. We've been friends since then, taking in a Lions game and a few other events. I relocated to Ohio last fall and Mark took me to lunch at Mancy's; I was trying to call him to take him out this spring and never heard back from him. Now for the God moment: at 9:25 this morning I Googled his name and found the obit in the Blade. I borrowed someone's car and made it to the church just in time for the service at 10! I didn't see a lot of Mark, but when I saw him...I saw a lot of Mark.

To the Militello family:
Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of Mark. I had known him for the past 7 years and he was always a person that thought of others before himself. The strength he showed over the past several years helped me put my life in perspective and for that I know that I will always remember and miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mark and I first met nearly 30 years ago when he and Virginia moved in next door. Mark impressed me as a guy that never gave up at anything he was involved in whether it was work, family, sports or what ever. We became good friends played softball, went to Brown's games, argued about Ohio State and Michigan. Through the years we were seperated by miles but I never lost the bond I had with Mark. He was more like a brother than a friend. He was the ultimate over achiever and devoted his life to making things better for his family and earned the respect and love of all of us who knew him well. He was the best man at our wedding and the best and truest friend I ever had. God rest his soul and watch over us until we see each other again.

To the family of Mark,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Mark made the OSU home games an absolute blast and it will never be the same without him. I lost my husband 2 years ago from cancer and shared his struggles with Mark about that before, and this brings back the pain and heartache for you all that I know too well. I wish you peace and much strength in the coming days, weeks and months as you struggle to move forward. My prayers are with you all, Laurie Segura.

To the Militello Family take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. I'm so very sorry for your loss Mark was a great man. He and my Dad (Rick Lauch) went to alot of OSU games together. I found a little prayer and would like to share it.. Heavenly Father, you knowhow deep my grief is. I long for the touch of a hand, the sound of a voice that is stiled. You are merciful and kind. You will comfort my wounded heart. Wipe the tears from my eyes. Thank you for understanding so well our poor human hearts and for letting us lean on you. In Jesus' name Amen.

I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to Mark’s family. Mark was such a very special person and an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Mark spoke with so much love and pride about all of you. His family was his greatest treasure and he wanted to share that with everyone. In doing so, he not only inspired others but his own words pleaded with each of us to go home and appreciate our own families more.
It will be a very sad day at L&W. In spite of his pain and the continuing struggle to fight his illness, Mark was always there with a smile and encouraging words of hope. We are all very blessed to have known him and we will miss him dearly.
He leaves his family and friends a legacy of steadfast faith, never-ending hope, and abundant love.
With deepest sympathy,
Terry and Lena QUISENBERRRY

Virginia and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss..God must've needed another Angel... I'm Mark's cousin in Miami and have been keeping tabs on him thru Sally and Linda...last time I saw Mark was a "few" years back....I was sound asleep when my phone rang, on the other end was a man telling me he was my cousin Mark, of course having not seen him since we were kids..I thought it was some kind of sick joke..after convincing me it was really him,I ended up getting out of bed and driving to Ft Lauderdale at 11:00 p.m.to sit on the side of the road and talk and reminisce about our childhoods for a couple of hours. It was quite comical, and is also one of my favorite memories...
God Bless,
B.J.

To the Militello family,
I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Mark at the Toledo Jeep plant for many years. He was and will always be remembered as a great guy. He will be sorely missed. I was attending the 5:50 PM service at Regina Coeli this past Saturday when I heard, during the announcements, that he passed away. Mark and family will be in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Your Goodfriends next door
