Martha T. "Busia"
Martha T. Prala, age 89, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 26, 2014. Martha was born in Toledo on June 1, 1924, to George and Stella (Raczkowski) Rusek. "Busia" loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. She enjoyed going on bus trips to the casino with the St. Hyacinth seniors and she baked delicious Polish coffee cakes.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jennie, Mary, Helen and Lillian and her brothers, Adam and Peter. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Norman; sons, Gary (Judy) and Duane (Mary Jo) Prala; grandchildren, Nickolas (Amy) Prala, Brittany (Justin) Riddle, Jamieson (Tabitha) and Alan (Lisa) Prala and great-grandchildren, Carter, Maxwell and Lucy.
Family and friends may visit on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday May 31, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church where the Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family prefers that memorial tributes be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
