Norman Prala Obituary
Norman L. “Dzia Dzia”
Norman L. Prala, age 90, of Toledo, passed away on June 5, 2016. He was born on June 25, 1925, the son of Leo and Martha (Urbanski) Prala. Norman proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Norm worked for the Kroger Company for 21 years, until the company closed. Norm and his brother, Virgil, purchased a Party Store which they operated for 20 years, under the name of ‘Prala Beverage Center'. He retired after the store was sold. He enjoyed golfing and bowling with his wife, Martha. He also cherished the time he spent with his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Norm was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Martha and by his parents. He will be dearly missed by his children, Gary (Judy) and Duane (Mary Jo) Prala; grandchildren, Nicholas (Amy), Jamieson (Tabitha), Alan (Lisa) and Brittany (Justin) Riddle; great-grandchildren, Carter, Maxwell, Lucy and Cora and extended family and friends.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Little Flower Church at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation.

I have missed seeing my Saturday afternoon church friend these past few months. I sat next to your father in church every week for the past couple of years. I never knew his last name but today they said a Norman Prala had died recently. I knew it was my friend. I will miss and keep him in my prayers

I remember going into pralas when I was younger. Your mom and dad were great people. At church or church functions when I saw them , we always had a nice talk.I will remember them in my prayers. God bless you all.
