Mary Ellen Decker

Mary Ellen Decker, age 73, of Toledo, passed away on September 4, 2022 at her home. She was born December 8, 1948 in Toledo, OH to Donald and Regina (Malak) Roudebush. Mary Ellen will be remembered for her huge heart and being the epitome of a care giver. She not only raised her own three children but helped raise many others as well who lovingly referred to her as "Ma". Mary Ellen enjoyed camping and gardening. Her favorite pastime was eating ice cream at Cullen Park while watching the boats on Lake Erie.

She is survived by her brother, Arthur (Jo Anne) Roudebush; sons, Robert (Tammy), Christopher (Jacquelene), and William Rose; grandchildren, Amber (Joel) Covell, Ashley Rose, Amanda Rose, Autum Rose and Meghan Rose; grand-dog, Artemis; 7 great-grandchildren; adopted family, Dawn Cook-Reed (Joseph), Tyler and Brian Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Carole and Robert Roudebush.

A graveside service will be held September 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the Parkside gate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ellen's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
