Mom was, and always will be, a very special person. May she live on through the many memories of those she touched. We will miss her!

Tim, Carol, and Bill,

The world is a better place because of your wonderful Mom and wife. I know my world is. When a was a young boy, your home became my "home away from home" where I always felt the warmth and love she sent out to all around her. She always made me feel welcome and cared about, a gift I'll always treasure.

1 Timothy 6:7 says "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out". Mary gave freely of herself to our world and she left her cows behind. But I'm sure she has all she wants and needs as she dances with our Lord now and forever.

May her joy continue to be contagious to you and everyone she reached on this part of her journey.

Blessings,

Bill Sirbu

Uncle Bill,Carol Ann & Tim,
Aunt Mary was an amazing person. When I came into the family I heard so many good things about Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill. I could'nt wait to meet them, when I did I loved them from the start. Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill taught our children how to water ski. They tried to teach Cliff but he drank the lake. It was always a happy time around Aunt Mary.
Cliff and I are so sad for your loss, but will remember that twinkle in her eye and know that someday we will see her again.

Tim and Carol,

There is not enough space to record all the beautiful memories I have of Mary. The many times we picniced, the many times we skated together at the rink and all the good times at the lake. Mary was so patient with our kids swarming all over the place. So many, many good memories that I will never forget. Carol and Tim had a wonderful Mom and Bill a wondeful wife.

Lovingly,
Jean

Mary was always so thoughtful and helpful - you couldn't ask for a better friend/neighbor. She helped us move in the neighborhood and even brought us down a big pot of delicious stew for dinner. She was also a great photographer. One of our favorite pictures of our daughter was taken by Mary and we will always think of her when we see that picture.

Dear Carol,

A recent e-mail from you contained this saying: "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain." Of course, I thought about Mary and how we "danced" - about what we do at Paul's Peers Respite Care.

It would have been easier for me and Mary too to have her just stay reclined in the easy chair. But I would get Mary to her feet and we would dance to the live music. Sometimes I thought I was just bothering Mary but then she would smile.

Thanks, Mary, for all our dances!

Peace,

Dear Carol and Bill,

Mary may be gone but not forgotten here. Every time we look out the back window and see the Carruths face on the tree she gave us or snuggle under the afghan she crocheted for us we think of her.

Dear Bill, Tim and Carol,
I can't say that I have one special memory of Aunt Mary. But when I think back on the few times I got to be with her she was an amazing woman. She had more energy than any three kids. She always had a warm and loving smile and was always concerned for all those around her. I look forward to seeing that smile and sking with her in Heaven.
God Bless,

Dear Bill,Tim and Carol,
It is not easy to give a favorite memory because there were so many special moments. But the last is special due to the fact that it was with my 2 1/2year old granddaughter only a few days before she left us. Ellie wanted to play her song "Take me out to the Ball Game" it was on a toy with bells and whistles literally and lights that lit up,Mary had responded well to it in the past and we had waited a longtime that day for Mary to finally wake up and she did for a brief momentand much to the delight of little Ellie and to all of us here at Paul's Peers with a wonderful smile. Her eyes then closed; however the smile remained.

Mary was a great gal. She could water ski with the best of them. I can't ever look at the lake without remembering Mary cutting the wake behind a 50 hp Johnson. I still remember when our daughter was 2 years old and running across the field to give her a big hug. Good times!

I loved your mom Carol. She was such a sweet darling woman. I always envied your family because your parents were so cool. I loved going with you to your lake house and hanging out with your family. Your mom always made me feel so welcome. I am sure you will miss her terribly but she is running and dancing with the angels and you can't get any better than that except to see Jesus face to face. She is young again and with you in a very special way now. God bless you and I will be praying for you and your family. Love Pat

I will remember the many family vacations together. Mary straightened and ironed my hair one summer and my mom didn't even get upset because Mary was her very best friend and my 2nd mom! I remember the toy parties our moms had together and we'd get to play with the toys!! I'll remember Mary and Bill teaching my entire family how to water ski. The memories of Mary go on & on and all are wonderful!! We miss her but will remember the memories forever and what a special person she was! All my prayers.
