For Matt's family,
You already know, but he was such a bright spot in so many lives. He walked in the door w/a ray of sunshine every single time without fail and spread that sunshine to others. It appeared that was his goal in life, to spread the sunshine. I never did hear anything but positive things from him. He will be missed dearly, and definitely left a bright spot for us all here on earth. We miss him already.

My thoughts and prayers are with all Matt's family and friends that will dearly miss him. About 22 years ago I was lucky enough to hang out with a crazy ,fun bunch of Rossford friends, Matt being one of them, and I have alot of great memories. May he rest in peace and I'll see you on the other side someday. I'm glad to know he's with his Mom.

It was always a pleasure to see Matt's smiling face when he walked through the doors at Kroger. He always made jokes and always made me smile. I will miss him dearly. As so will many other Kroger Employees. Prayers to your family during this difficult time. I will miss you my friend!

Distance is keeping me from being there, and it makes me terribly sad. We just finally reconnected after so long apart. You have always been kind, joyful, and pretty fricken funny to be around. You made everyone smile around you and we have been lucky to have had you in our lives for as long as we did. Rest comfortably, and I hope we get to meet again in another life.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. I just lost a son a month ago and the pain is terrible. Matt people are saying the same about you how you always made them laugh. I saw you at a distance a couple weeks ago at Sautters but didn't get to say hi. I wanted to come see you in the hospital but they said you were in a coma. I hope you rest in peace in your new home. Matt, you were a great friend!! I will miss you dearly and only wish that we could have had more time to share our lives. I am very grateful that I was able to see you a couple times within this past month and that you remembered me from my days back at Sautter's.
