The Renn,
We are sorry about the loss of your son, Matthew. I will missed him always. I've known him when I just entered in Ida H.I. Program in high school. We've been friends since then. He always a good guy, working very hard for his future. We are proud of his accomplishments. You should, too, proud of your son. His last word as always is Peace.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Renn,
My brother, Chris Burhart, and Matthew were close friends as they grew up together at Ida's Hearing Impaired Program. I met Matthew at an early age, and saw him from time to time when I came back to visit family in Ida. He always struck me as a kind person and devoted friend to Chris. I remember my mother being very fond of your son. I was saddened to hear of your loss. Just know that we are all thinking of you during this difficult time and you are in our prayers.

Dear Rachel and Clifford, Although we have never met, we wish to tell you we are so very sorry to hear of your son Matt's death. We met Matt last December while we were visiting our daughter and son-in-law (Laurie and Chris Burhart) in Toledo, Ohio. What an impressive young man! Soon after, Laurie told me about Matt's diagnosis of cancer and his hard fought battle. I know you will miss him greatly, but I also know you will have many wonderful memories to sustain you. Please accept out condolences.
