Maurice Jordan Obituary
July 23, 1932 - February 4, 2023
Maurice Keith Jordan, Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, February 4th, 2023. He was in his home comfortably surrounded by loved ones.
He cherished his wife of more than 65 years. His "Fraulein" was the love of his life. They raised a large family together. He was a father who was present, and offered loving guidance to his children and grandchildren. Maurice was a veteran who made a career in the United States Army. He later managed the Ohio State Barber College in Toledo. Maurice had varied interests, among them vintage cars. He could be found in the garage working on project cars, or on whatever needed to be fixed around the house, yours or his. Maurice was talented that way. He was a man, by all accounts, of strong resolve and determination who could achieve whatever he put his mind to, and helped his loved ones do the same.
Maurice is survived by his loving wife, Brigitta Jordan; their eight children, Maurice Jordan, Roswitha Jordan, Patricia (Merritt) Dilts, Ronald (Shannon) Jordan, Monica Jordan, Cristina Jordan, Michelle (DJ) Smith, and Michael Jordan; fourteen grandchildren, Terri Lynn Campbell, Joshua Jordan, Jason Jordan, Brian Jordan, Bradley Jordan, Roxanne Beal, Brennan Dilts, Kiersten Dilts, Morgan Balzer, Braden Smith, Brigitta Smith, Matthew Jordan, Benjamin Jordan, and Michaela Jordan; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A private memorial was held by the family. He will be loved always, and missed always by all who knew him.
