Meredyth Gobba Obituary
Meredyth C. (Gormley)
Meredyth C. Gobba, age 103, of Mission, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was born August 2, 1909, to Florence and Clyde Gormley.
She is survived by her children, David and Sylvia; grandsons, Carlo and Edward, and great-granddaughters, Rachael and Heather. Also surviving is her youngest sister, Joanna Lancaster, and several nieces and nephews.
Meredyth was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Gobba on April 1, 1993; brothers, John and Prentiss, and sisters, Winifred Shelton and Alice Schafer.
Meredyth attended Adrian College and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta National Sorority. She was then accepted into The Toledo Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1932 as a Registered Nurse.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Amboy Township Cemetery in Metamora, Ohio.
