Michael Leith Obituary

LEITH Michael Stephen Michael Stephen Leith died Monday, June 4, 2007, at his home in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 50. Michael was born December 1, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio. He attended school in Toledo, Ohio (Little Flower Catholic, McTigue Jr. High and Rogers High School). He married Toni Schaal Wright in March 1983, and was looking forward to celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary with his "best friend & wife". He was employed at Nazar Rubber Co. & Temp Glass Corp. of Toledo, Ohio. Michael moved his family to Boise, Idaho in December of 1989. He worked for several local companies, including US Rentals, Home Depot and had currently worked for Western Construction. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Toni; sons, Anderson Wright and Mack Leith; daughter and son-in-law, Bethany Wright Martin and Jeramiah Martin and three loving grandchildren, Harrison, Truman and Sophie Martin. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce (Larry) Schlegel; his brother, Earl Leith; and family and friends in Toledo, Ohio. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Joseph and Irene Barbara (Nowakowski) Leith; his sister, Beverly Fournier; and his brother, Raymond Leith. Michael will be remembered for his love of his family, of the ocean and all things "fishing". He enjoyed classic motorcycle and his passion for collecting antique toys. Family and friends will miss his laughter and sharp wit. Keep em' laughing "Big Guy". Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Summers Funeral Homes, Boise, Idaho.

Just read about "Heavy" dying. Was going to hook up with him after 35 yrs of distance. Mike was one of the funniest guys I ever knew and a great friend. I'm shocked and heartbroken. Will miss you bud! So sorry for ya, Toni.

Dear Toni & Kids, I'm sorry for your loss, Mike was my best friend and i will miss our phone calls,he and i had a great time when we were togeather, i will miss his funny laff , his wit and stories, he had a million of them ,and Toni he always told me how happy he was with you and the family, and how he was going to move to the coast, where you guys could really do some fishing, i know your busy, but in a few days i'd like to call and talk ! my thoughts are with you all , respectfully Mikes friend , Greg [email protected]
