Michael “Mike”
Michael “Mike” D. Pagona Jr., 37 of Toledo, OH, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Born February 2, 1979, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Michael D. and Donna (Williams) Pagona Sr. He was a 1996 graduate of Start High School. He followed in his father's footsteps working out of the Boilermakers Local 85 in Rossford for the past 19 years. Mike loved welding, a skill he started learning at his father's knee. He loved going to the park, flying his helicopters, going to concerts, spending time with his many friends and family and especially being with his son.
Mike is survived by his loving son, Michael D. Pagona III; mother, Donna Pagona; sisters, Shay (Troy) Tidwell and Sher Pagona-Theisen; nephew, Troy (Megan Russell) Tidwell Jr.; nieces, Breanna Tidwell, Macy and Tara Theisen; great-nephew, Trevor Tidwell; uncle, Perry Williams; aunt, Lana (Edwin) Henry; former wife, Maribeth Socha. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Fr. James Auth, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Team Recovery in Toledo.

Donna - I'm so sorry to hear about Mike. I remember all of us running around the neighborhood when we were kids. My condolences to Shay and Sher as well.

My condolences to the family. I didn't know Mike very well but I lost my brother Kevin Brown back in 1992. Mike was a very good friend of Kevin's and after all these years was still one of the few that regularly visited Kevin's grave site. A friend like that is a rare thing these days. I am so sorry for your loss.

Donna, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your son Michael. I remember when your husband Mike and little Mike went camping at Pokegan State Park with Conley and Adam and Zachary, Mark (Pollock) and his two sons Brandon and Chad. My son's talked about that trip and how much fun they had. To your daughter's Sher and Shea my condolences to you also. May God bless you and keep you all.
