Michael “Mike”
Michael “Mike” Siwa, age 54, of Temperance, MI, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1962 to Ted and Dolores Siwa in Toledo. Mike was a 1980 graduate of Whitmer High School. Since graduating he was the owner of Mike's Lawn Service. He enjoyed time with friends and family, was an avid golfer and loved his winters in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.
Mike is survived by his loving sisters, Vikki (Jerry) Weible, Karen (Gary) Webber, Terri (Dale) Swartzlander, Laurie (Robert) Green and Tammi (Jim) Barron; aunt, Irene Valentine; and many cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday to celebrate his life from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider A Place for Mary, www.aplaceformaryhbh.org / www.harbor.org or a charity of the donor's choice.
