Nancy Flis Obituary

Nancy Flis

12/11/1962 - 3/8/2024

Nancy Birchler Flis departed this life on March 8, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on the 11th of December, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she spent her youth in Sylvania, Ohio, before relocating to northern Virginia.

Blessed with a kindred spirit, Nancy was a beloved wife, a treasured sister, a fondly remembered aunt, and loyal friend. Her life was marked by her passion for the culinary arts, particularly her baking, which brought joy to all. Her eloquence with words ensured that every sentiment she expressed through her greeting cards was deeply felt.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel Flis; her sister, Ann Randall; and her brother, Tom Birchler. Nancy was preceded in passing by her father, Alan Birchler; her mother, Patricia Birchler; and her brother, William Birchler.

Nancy's absence will be keenly felt by all who were fortunate to know her. Her family and friends are consoled by the thought that she is at peace. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
