Nancy Dziad Wood

June 16, 1946 - November 8, 2025

(née Nancy Ellen Storey), 79, passed away in Auburn Hills, Michigan, on November 8, 2025. She was born on June 16, 1946, in Fostoria, Ohio. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Harley A. Wood; her children, Stephanie Dziad (Bill Matthews), Jennifer Dziad (Pierre Chouvy), and Gregory Dziad (Katie); and her stepchildren, Peter Dziad, MD (Amy), Stephen Dziad (Chris), Anthony Dziad (Denise), Scott Wood (Beth), and Angie Bullard (Jeff). She also leaves behind her sisters, Mary Culver (David) and Jane Snyder (Michael); sister-in-law, Torda Storey; and many cherished grandchildren and step-grandchildren who will carry her love forward. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, James and Thomas; and her former husband, Pantalejmon Dziad, MD.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at A.J. Desmond & Sons, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple/Big Beaver), Troy, MI 48084. Scripture service begins at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 3077 Glouchester Drive, Troy, MI 48084. Visitation begins at the church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio; St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, Ohio; or a charity of choice.
