Nina Eyrse Obituary

EYRSE

Nina R. 12/22/45 - 7/19/14

Heaven received a special angel today. Nina Eyrse, 68, passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Saturday, July 19.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Wilma (Craig) Eyrse; her brother, Donald Craig; brother-in-law, Donald Perry, and her best friend, Pat Purcell.

She loved taking care of her yard; she had a green thumb and could get anything to grow. She also loved her old Jeep Wrangler and giving the "Jeep Wave" to every other Jeep she passed on the road (It's a Jeep thing).

Nina love kids and dogs and knew how to spoil them both well. She was the favorite aunt.

Nina worked for City Auto Stamping for 20 years, Hunt-Wessen and Electra Prime, where she suffered a work injury and had to take early retirement. She moved in with her sister in Whitehouse and was doing fine walking with a cane and a leg brace after a year and a half of rehab. The sisters started a bucket list of places they wanted to travel, they just got to complete the first two, a trip to Las Vegas, including a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon with a picnic lunch at the base of the canyon. The three sisters went to New York, NY to see all the Christmas decorations. Many more trips were planned but tragedy struck Nina again with a triple aneurysm which, thanks to the Cleveland Clinic Neurosurgeons, she survived and we received the gift of having her with us 4 more years.

Nina is survived by her sisters, Ruth Ann (Sissy) Perry of Whitehouse, OH, Pennie (Tom) Whatmore of Ft. Myers, FL, and many nieces and nephews; also friends she loved as family (brothers) John and Phillip and (sister) Sharyn Purcell.

A very special thank you to niece Wendy for the support-comfort and constant love she showed Nina and Ruth Ann.

It was so hard to let her go, but we know that her struggles and pain are over and she is happy in the arms of her Lord and Savior and she was greeted by a host of family and friends to welcome her home.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard but always near. Still Loved, still missed and very dear."

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville, Ohio. Father Keith Stripe will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Sylvania, Ohio.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home. Waterville.
