Patricia "Pat" A. Schnipke

May 27, 1935 - January 10, 2021

Patricia "Pat" A. Schnipke of Ottawa Lake, MI. died Sunday January 10, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 27, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles and Doris (Smothers) Welch. Pat married Robert "Bob" B. Schnipke on February 3, 1968. Along side Bob, she owned and operated Schnipke Park in Ottawa Lake, MI for 47 years, and was the proud proprietor of Merle Norman Cosmetics in downtown Sylvania for more than 40 years. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she was employed with Ohio Bell, and, as a nurse with Dr.'s Ballinger and Hill in Lambertville, MI. Her spare time was dedicated to her grandchildren, gardening, and ceramics. Pat was member of Regina Coeli Catholic church. After retirement from Merle Norman, Pat volunteered at Ebeid Hospice.

She is survived by Robert, her loving husband of 52 years; children, Karen (Don) Bliss, Shannon (Brad) Schwanbeck, and Rob (Nancy) Schnipke, II; grandchildren, Samantha (Josh) Kirby, Dillon (Alisa Jordan) Schwanbeck, Wyatt Schwanbeck, Sabashtan (Jessica) Kreft, and Kendall Schnipke; great-grandchildren, Henrik, Emelia, Dillon Jr., Harper, Nolan and Weston. Pat was preceded in death by brother, Edward Welch and sister, Esther Tomanski.

Pat selflessly gave her remains to the Anatomical Donation Program of the University of Toledo. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Pat's memory to Ebeid Hospice. Arrangements by the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, Temperance, MI.
