Patricia VanSlambrouck Obituary
Patrica A. VanSlambrouck, age 78, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Regency Hospital-Oregon. She was born on November 24, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ralph and Hazel (Frederick) Brockett. Patricia was a 1964 graduate of Waite High School. She earned her R.N. degree from Maumee Valley Nursing School in 1967 and started her career as a surgical nurse. Patricia worked at various local hospitals over the years, before finishing her career with Toledo Hospital. She retired after 34 years of service. Patricia enjoyed gardening, loved cats, and taking trips to Disney World.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dan VanSlambrouck; brother, Ralph Brockett; sisters-in-law, Sharon Poore, and Susan (Paul) Padot; and her niece, Megan Brockett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Hazel; and her sister-in-law, Mary Brockett.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m., where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Toledo Humane Society.
