Paul William Deal

Paul William Deal, of Northwood, OH, passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 81. Paul was born in Walbridge, OH, on November 17, 1943, to Albert W. Deal and Verna Marie (Fahle) Deal, along with 13 brothers and sisters.

In 2010, Paul retired from the Myers & Watters Co., where he rose to become president and owner. Paul graduated from Lake High School in 1962. Paul is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as sergeant during the Vietnam War.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy (Eggleston-Ratliff) Deal; and his two children, Ryan (Ryan Lepicier) Deal and Renae (Alan) Davies; step-daughter, Penny Krueger; sisters, Sandy Konieczny and Doris Lafferty; and brothers, Gerald, Richard, Donald, and Robert (Sue). Surviving grandchildren are Aidan, Greyson, and Ella Davies; and step-grandchildren, Dominique (Brian) Zeman, Corey (Angela) Ratliff, Theo Krueger, and Donovan Murphy. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Kusian, Pauline Spencer, Ruth Jabs, Beverly Hicks, and Carol Fry; brothers, Theodore and James; stepson, Robert Ratliff; and step-grandson, Kevin Ratliff.

Friends will be received at The Robert Shank, Sr. Chapel at Sunrise Life Celebrations, Walbridge, on Friday January 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m.
