Paul ESTEP Obituary

ESTEP Paul E. Paul E. Estep, age 60, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 5, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 39 years, Sharon; daughter, Tyler (Justin Kazmirski) Pollauf; sons, Justin Paul, and Jason Edward; grandchildren, Zachary, Blake, and Karsen Pollauf, Emily Ressler and Maxwell Kazmirski, all of Sylvania; sisters, Linda (Tony) Zappone, Julia (Bob) Keeler, and Peggy Butler; brother, Bob Estep; sister-in-law, Barbara (Louis) Haefner; brother-in-law, Ronald (Lana) Decker; and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gifford and Zelphia (Wilburn) Estep; brothers, Harold, Donald, George "Sonny" and Roger Estep; sisters, Mildred Richmond, Melba Meadows, Muriel Spencer and Judy Puckett; and parents-in-law, Roy and Elizabeth Decker. Paul was born in West Virginia on December 1, 1951, and moved to Sylvania when he was young. He attended Sylvania Schools where he met and married the love of his life, Sharon Decker, whom Paul affectionately referred to as "Gert" . He worked for Medusa and Jeep, retiring in 2006. Paul was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He touched many lives and had many life-long friendships. Everywhere he went he knew someone. You could always count on Paul's laughing eyes to brighten your day. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, especially his family, who's sense of humor, stubbornness, and personality will live on. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, (30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551) whom the family would like to thank for their loving care of Paul. On-line condolences may be made to walkerfuneralhomes.com

Sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a good friend to many people in the Ashland area in the late 60's.A great character,friend and fairly good dancer.GOd bless all who knew and loved him.
