Paul Miller Obituary

Paul C. Miller, age 89, of Millbury, died Sunday, November 13, 2005, at Harborside of Perrysburg. Paul was born on August 18, 1916, in New Rochester, Ohio. He married Anna Mary Huff on February 15, 1941, in Pemberville, Ohio. A WWII Army veteran, he worked for Autolite nearly 15 years before beginning work in the Heat Treatment Department at Dana Corporation where he retired on September 1, 1981. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Walbridge VFW Post #9963. Paul loved spending time at home with his family. He loved cutting wood and will always be remembered as sitting by the pot belly stove.
He is survived by his children, Rev. Carl P. (Mary Ann) Miller of Luckey, OH, Carolyn A. (Al) Cizauskas of Walbridge, OH and Stanley L. (Kathy) Miller of Toledo, OH; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Earl (Joyce) Wegman, as well as his sister, Alyne (George) Rist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Carrie (Miller) Wegman; wife, Anna Mary (Huff) Miller; grandson, Mike Miller and his great-grandson, Conner Miller.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH 43465 (419-666-3121) where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, with Rev. Paul F.H. Reichert, officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Lake High School Athletic Department.

Our family extends our sympathy to Paul's family. It was so good to have met Paul a little over 2 months ago for the first time. He came to the funeral home when my dad "Purk" Sr passed away.
