Paul Thees Obituary
A Memorial Mass for Paul Joseph Thees, who passed away January 17, 2018, will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo.
Following Mass, a reception at the Pinnacle in Maumee will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. to continue to celebrate Paul's life.
Paul is survived by his wife of 28 years, Michelle (Baker) Thees; daughter, Meredith (Ryan) Bundy; son, Zachary (Sarah) Thees; granddaughter, Zoey Bundy; father, William Thees; brothers, Mark (Liz) Thees and Michael (Charlene) Thees; sisters, Michelle (Steve) Meehan and Maureen (Jake) Jagos; father and mother-in-law, Gwen and Dick Baker; sister-in-law, Tammy (Michael) Kirkelie; brother-in-law, Tim (Shirley) Baker; 12 nieces and 3 nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Thees; grandparents, Margaret and William Thees, Orville and Louise Wahl and nephew, Kyle Baker.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Central Catholic High School, 2550 Cherry Street, Toledo, Ohio 43608 or Little Sisters of the Poor, 930 South Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616.

My son Dominic grew up with Zach, and spent time with him and his family through their love of bowling. I recently attended Zach's wedding and had the pleasure of seeing his dad and mom after many years. It was wonderful seeing the family having such a wonderful time. I pray that the Thees family finds comfort and support in each other and looks back with love, on all the warm memories they have of him. So very sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep your family in my prayers.

This is tragic. I guess I am at a loss for words. Having grown-up with the Thees family, I spent a lot of time with Paul, Mark, and Mike with Michelle and Maureen being close behind. I still remember Paul always being outgoing with a grin on his face. He was always upbeat and willing to go out of his way to help others. We had a lot of good times together. You will be surely missed. My deepest condolences to Bill and the rest of the family and especially Paul's wife Michelle and her children.
