Oh...how this has found me through a run in with Toledo Air Guard members. PETE was our UPT Class Leader and Section A leader. 86-01 @ Vance AFB, OK. 1984- 10 Oct 1985.
Pete was one helluva great guy. FUN to fly with in formation. I've so many stories to tell but none alone would do it justice. Very caring guy, called it BS when it was BS. So many great stories the whole 49 weeks in Enid, OK. Ok.....the best one...Pete had a party at his house. We got on his house roof and stomped as loud as we could . Pete came out and got on the roof with us and proceeded to imbibe with us 2Lt's. 15 min went by and Enid police drove up and wrote Pete up a Noise/ Nuisance Warning. We continued inside....and had choice words of the Enid "spoilers". Certainly miss ya, Pete... RIP... tailwinds to you too!

I am so sorry for your loss. I bought his house, and think of him often, as he was meticulous in his care and organization of the home. He clearly was a very detail-oriented person! May you all find comfort in your warm memories of him.

My son Ryan was a friend of Pete's. I remember the day he came home and told me about Pete passing away. Now they are both together causing trouble and hang out together.
