Randy Allen
Randy Allen Krell, 61, passed away on September 30, 2016, surrounded by his family. Randy was born May 20, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio to Leonard and Doris (Sharples) Krell. Randy graduated from the auto technicians program at Whitmer High School in 1973 and later went on to become an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician and an ASIA/ASE “World-Class” Technician whose name is perpetually inscribed in the Automotive Hall of Fame. On April 22, 1977 he married Pamela (Cutts) Krell in Toledo, Ohio. Together, Randy and Pam moved to Lambertville, Michigan and raised their 3 children.
Randy enjoyed a long and accomplished career in the automotive industry working as an auto technician, Service Manager and Body Shop Manager at Grogan's, Charlie's Dodge, and Vin Devers Doge before opening and running his own business in 2003. In addition to his work, Randy served for 12 years on the Bedford Public Schools Board of Education.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shelly Krell; and countless childhood friends. Randy is survived by his loving family, wife, Pamela Krell; sons,
David Krell and Timothy Krell; daughter and son-in-law, Julianne (Adam)
Pickard; and grandson, Nolan Pickard. He is also survived by his siblings: Karen (Steven) Stalker, James (Nora Beth) Krell, Cheryl Morris, Daryl (Linden) Gillaspy, Pamela (Roman) Bialecki, and Kenneth (Suzanne) Krell.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Promedica Goerlich Center and Promedica Hospice for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Road, Toledo, OH on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation beginning at 7:30 p.m. on October 4.
