Randy McNeely Obituary
Randy "Beer Man" McNeely, 68, of Reading, MI, passed away May 30, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home. Randy was born July 30, 1952 in Toledo to Walter and Martha (Jimison) McNeely.
He worked as a plumbing salesman for Maumee Supply. After he retired, he worked a variety of part-time jobs that brought many people into his life. Randy was best known for his proud "Beer Man" title selling beer at the Toledo Sports Arena and then the Huntington Center. He leaves behind many loyal customers and friends.
He was an avid woodcrafter and fisherman. Randy and his wife, Sandy, fulfilled a lifelong dream of living on the lake when they moved to Reading, MI.
Left to cherish his memory is his high school sweetheart, wife, Sandy; son, Chad (Brieanna); daughter, Carrie Bork; step-son, Jason Hintz; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Vicki (Jeff) Carstens and Amy (Rick) Kaiser; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 12 - 4 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900). A Celebration of Life honoring Randy will begin Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Planned Pethood, P.O. Box 350908, Toledo, OH 43635, or Elara Caring Hospice Foundation, 900 Cooper St., Jackson, MI 49202, in Randy's memory.

Randy was a valuable member of the Merickel-Farley Trout Club and truly will be missed for all the things he did for us. Randy restarted the program of purchasing and delivering hats/shirts/jackets for all club members. He purchased and installed the sorely needed Security System for the club buildings and grounds. Randy was also an active member of the Buildings and Grounds Committee and could often be found mowing grass any day of the week. We know Randy was extremely happy living at the Michigan lake with his wife and family and it's sad his life had to end so soon.
