RIP Mr. Bennett

Mr. Bennett was my 5th grade science teacher around 1978. He helped me count all the pennies I had collected for Unicef that year. Think I had about 1000 pennies... I never forgot how patient he was with me as we counted.
I attended Mayfair Plymouth Church for many years so when he started his roll as associate pastor it was wonderful to reunite with him. I moved to Washington State not long after so I missed the many wonderful years of his ministering. Mayfair was blessed to have him as a pastor. He will always be Mr. Bennett to me. I will never forget him. RIP Mr. Bennett ?

Marie: Please accept my sympathy for you and your extensive family, even though I know and you know the blessing of having Ray absent from his body and being with his Savior where one suffers no more. I loved Pastor Ray so deeply and his absence leaves a huge ache in my heart. May your faith in our Lord comfort and sustain you at this time,

Teaching together at JRE was a real treat. Ray always got the children so excited about science. He brought classes with their families out to our house to stargaze and appreciate God's handiwork! He shared his faith with his students by example not by preaching to them. You will be missed Ray.
