Richard Majewski Obituary

Richard Majewski

Richard Joseph Majewski, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on August 12, 2025, at age 90. He lived most of his life in Toledo's Polish Village.

Faith in God was central to Richard's life. As a member of the Church of God International for over 50 years, he attended services nearly every week.

Richard worked for Jeep as an engineer for 43 years. He volunteered to join the Army in 1954, and held the rank of specialist. He was on active duty for three years, then continued as a reservist for eight years.

Richard was married to Ellen Hille from 1959 until her death in 2005. Later, he was married to Teresa Lantz for 18 years until Richard's death.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Lantz) Majewski; and his children, Debbie (Studdard) Ulrich (Marty), Annette (Holden Lewis) Majewski, Martha Majewski, Joseph Majewski, David (Donna) Majewski; and daughter-in-law, Gail Majewski; as well as 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and stepson, Thomas Bragg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Majewski; brothers, James and Donald Majewski; Ellen Majewski; and son, Randy Majewski.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 25, for family and friends, in the Chapel at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, with military funeral honors at graveside. Please arrive in the main parking lot before 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's.
