I am honored to have known Rick, a pillar in our profession. His legacy lives on in the knowledge and wisdom he so freely shared with many of us. The hole left behind in his absence will never be fully filled. Our industy has suffered a great loss, while the heavens have welcomed a beautiful soul. Peace be with his family and all those who mourn his passing.

I will truly miss Rick. What I admired most was his sense of humor and his down to earth nature. I always enjoyed our chats about anything other than business. When it came to any questions about our industry, Rick was my go to guy. My prayers are with you and your family, my friend.

Rick will be missed by so many Training Directors such as myself. The IBEW-NECA Team has lost a good man. I will remember Rick with a smile on my face. He was one of very few who could answer the really tough questions our JATC's needed answers to. Rick was a mentor to many in our industry and we will all miss him very much.

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of this fine man. Rick helped me with tons of questions over the past 15 years I've known him. Rick and I laughed over the silly things that make up the humor in our lives. I had the pleasure of learing from him during various NJATC Seminars around the Country. There are few people in the Electrical Industry of the stature and professionalism that was Rick Hecklinger. May he rest in peace and in God's hands.

I learned so much from Rick. Not electrical stuff but Life lessons, how to treat people, how to make others feel important. He always had time for everyone, no matter how busy or "on the run" he was. I can hear him laugh, deep and rich and from his heart and soul. I will keep him close to my heart. Thanks for sharing him with me.
