Rita A. Binkowski

BINKOWSKI Rita A. Rita A. Binkowski, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at her residence at Kingston of Perrysburg. Rita was born on March 27, 1927, in Toledo to Joseph and Agnes (Kiel) Kielczewski. She was a longtime resident of Maumee, was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing cards, her family and not being interrupted during Bingo. Rita was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Maumee and was a past member of the 14th Ward Oldtimer's Auxiliary. Rita is survived by her loving son, Frank (Sharon) Binkowski; daughter-in-law, Rita Binkowski; grandchildren, Lori (Rich) Currey, Michael (Danielle) Binkowski, Drew (Tracy) Binkowski, Randy Binkowski and Kelli (Eric) Kadel and great-grand-children, Ricky and Alli Currey, Hailey, Carter, Hannah and Cooper Binkowski. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years, Frank "Beanie" Binkowski; sons, Joseph, Randy and Daniel and brothers, Chester and Edmund Kielczewski. Family and friends may visit Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where Scripture services will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Maumee. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family extends special thanks to the caring staff at Kingston of Perrysburg.
