Robert Brown Obituary

Robert Craig Brown

September 29, 1950 - August 7, 2025

The earthly journey of Robert Craig Brown came to a close on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at Toledo Hospital.

Robert was one of four children born to Finish and Selma Brown. He is survived by his two sisters, Stephanie Morris of Toledo, Ohio; and Deborah (Eugene) Riley of Indianapolis, Indiana; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Robert's faith shaped the course of his life. He attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he answered the call to ministry and became a chaplain. Following God's leading, he founded Grace Community Church in Tchula, Mississippi, faithfully serving there for several years before returning home to Toledo. Later, he pursued a career as an ironworker, where he was known for his strength, dedication, and integrity.

A man of deep thought and unwavering faith, Robert loved research and was a constant witness for the Lord. He gently reminded those around him to guard their hearts and to always live with integrity. His words and example will continue to guide the many lives he touched.

Robert's life will be remembered for his devotion to Christ and his steadfast encouragement to walk in truth.
