Dear Colledge family,
I just found out about Bob's passing. I knew Bob from working with Sam Mitchell and grew to admire Bob tremendously. He was always selflessly helping people, including total stangers, and never asking anything in return. To me, this is the mark of a true Christian and, quite simply, a good human being. I got to talk with Bob a lot as we labored to keep my 85 Plymouth Reliant running which gave us both a big headache, but also some laughs.
One thing I'll miss is his always cheerful greeting of, "Hey, Bobby!", whenever he'd see me.
As a fellow sufferer of gout, I was amazed how he could keep working with all that horrible pain. Of course, he was able to do that because of his love for you, his family. He'll be truly missed by many people, including strangers in distress who were lucky to have crossed his path.
With Sympathy and Best Regards,
Bob Phillips

Dear Mary and family,
I was sorry to hear of the loss of Bob. I remember him very well from my time at Holland FM church. Always so sunny a disposition and friendly to everyone. I know your loss is great but your memories will sustain you. I am praying for your comfort and the unity of the family during this particular season.

Dear Mary,
Our loss, heaven's gain! What a dear brother Bob was - always encouraging, helping others, a very loving husband and father. His 4 daughters and grandchildren are his precious heritage. He never by-passed a troubled motorist because he oozed the gift of mercy. We loved your man! May God comfort yours and your family's hearts.
