Earl (Woody) Woodworth

June 11, 2009

I only worked a very short time with Bobby at Brondes. When I would visit Toledo we had a standing warranty joke. I would stand out of sight of his office and loudly proclaim, “ever since my car was new,” and Bobby would yell, “come on in Woody.” Years could have passed but he would pick up on it every time. I was fortunate to have had him as a friend and he will be missed by all.

To Ryan and your family,
I am sorry for your loss. Bobby D gave me my job at brondes while going through the ASSET program. i was in his office getting chewed alot, and he should have fired me about 6 times, but he kept giving me another chance. Bob did alot for me without even knowing it and i'm very thankful for that.

June 8, 2009

I was very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. I was proud to have known him,and work with in a way. My name is Nick Dulemba, and I worked for G.P.D.,Inc.,the Ford rebuilders for many years. We worked together as I delivered to the Brondes dealership.
Bobby's knowledge was incredible, and his insights to many differant things, both automotive, and personal , were both on point and useful.
I didn't know Bobby than any more than woeking with him, As a friend because of the bussiness we did, was a scale to know that his way from work friendships , would also be something to cherish.
My last memory of Bobby was when I visited some friends in the auto business a few years ago, I happened to stop and see Bobby, and he was the same as the last I seen him, years before that.
I am sorry for your loss, and I apologise that I cannot visit at this time.
God Bless you Bobby D', you were one in a million.

I was shocked when I heard about Bob. As I hung up the phone I remembered back. I worked with Bob at Brondes Ford for many years. He was always a great help to me. I took pictures of his T-Bird and advertised it on the Internet for him. We shared many a laugh on the Brondes lot. Bob was a true car man. His passion was cars and he lived his passion. I remember when he started Mid West. I took pictures for him of his first Cobra. The world will be a dimmer place without his smile and chuckle. My condolences to the family. When I think of Bobby D I will always smile with his memory.

Bob and I were great friends through high school and our eary adult lives. We even roomed together for a short while in my first house in Toledo. We played golf quite often as he was a consistent member of our weekly foursome along with Mike Prohl and Dave Pinniger. We bowled together for years and the wife and I also frequented Glass Bowl Lanes when Bob took it over in our favorite Ma and Pa league. We shared a love of muscle cars as well as many other interests and sports. We had just seen him two years ago when he and Vicki came out to Phoenix for the Barrett-Jackson car show. We will miss him dearly and we will keep Vicki, Ryan, and his entire family in our thoughts and prayers.
