Robert Navarre Obituary

NAVARRE

Robert "Bob" L.

Robert "Bob" L. Navarre, 87, died in his sleep on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at his home in Chicago, Illinois. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 28, 1928, the son of Lyndon and Catherine (McTigue) Navarre. Bob graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended the University of Detroit. More recently, he volunteered as a crossing guard and Court Appointed Special Advocate.

He is survived by his sister, Jeanne Momenee; his former wife, Jacqueline Stewart Navarre; three of his children, Michelle, Michael and James Navarre; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will take place on Saturday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Old St. Mary's Church, 1500 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, with a celebration of his life to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity or in Bob Navarre's name to Old St. Mary's School, c/o Lisa Galullo, 1474 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605.

A wonderful court team- Carol Hitt and Bob Navarre

Bob was a special friend to the Lucas County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program. He was an excellent advocate and court investigator and was loved by the entire CASA staff. Rest in peace, Bob.
