Robert E. "Bob" Soncrant Jr.

SONCRANT Robert "Bob" E. Robert "Bob" E. Soncrant Jr., age 79, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2006, at the Heartland Of Waterville, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on July 24, 1927. He was a proud member of the United States Navy from 1943-1945. Bob worked at the U.S. Post Office for 36 years and at Conrail Railroad for 10 years. He loved to fish, bowl, and attend numerous sporting events involving his children and grandchildren. He was an ardent University Of Michigan football fan Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Soncrant and his son, Gary Soncrant. Surviving is his devoted wife of 57 years, Barbara Soncrant; children, Mike (Cindy) Soncrant, Jeff (Arline) Soncrant, Randy (Laura) Soncrant and Debbie (Rick) Rine; grandchildren, Alexis, Joseph, Jessica, Leslie, Kevin, Jared, Eric, Nick Soncrant and Austin Rine. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Thursday, January 4, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. Interment Restlawn Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of a contribution to Hospice Of Northwest Ohio. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Kathy and the wonderful care from Hospice of Northwest Ohio as well as the compassionate care of the staff at Heartland Of Waterville.
