Robert Whiteman Obituary

WHITEMAN Robert William Jr. "Hollywood" 10/13/1967 - 10/4/2009 He was a kind and loving man that adored his wife, children, and grandson. He left us much too early in this life, but his spirit lives on in those that knew and loved him. We were all so lucky to have known him and spent all the special times that each of us had with him. Our memories of the happy times are the way he would want us to remember him. In life, he enjoyed many things including playing and watching hockey, playing the drums, collecting knives, martial arts, being a wonderful father, and an active AA member. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary; children, Crystal, Angelica, and Miranda; son-in-law, Rob, and grandson, Jackson; mother, Nancy; sister, Kim (Todd) and daughters, Amanda, Madison, and Hannah; grandmother, Henrietta; aunt, Judy (Kelly), aunt, Jan (Jim); cousin, John; uncle, Mike (Sue) and children; nephew, Nick (Carla) and sons, Niko and Drew; special family, Rosalinda (Morlon) and daughters, Eva, Rosalinda, Antonia, and son, Frankie, Tia Pat; mother-in-law, Vickie (Orville); special friend, Taylor; sister-in-law, Debbie (John) and sons, Robbie (Noah) and Corey. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert William Whiteman Sr.; his grandmother, Vesta Whiteman; his brother, Gary Whiteman; and cousin, Santos Garcia. There will be visitation from 1 - 4 p.m. Saturday, October 10th at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., where a time of remembrance will follow at 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 17th at First St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1121 Grasser St., Oregon. "The heavens have a new star in the sky and I will see you every night. Love, Miranda" "Your butterfly kisses will last me a lifetime. Love, Angel" "You'll always be my hero. Love, Crystal" "You really were my love of a lifetime, Babe. Love, Mary" "We all love and miss you forever. Until we meet again." www.hoeflingerfuneralhome.com

The Bonnough Family

October 23, 2009

Words can not express the loss of such a great guy Bobby was. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife, his children, and the rest of his family. I will always keep the memories of him coming over to my mom's house to "pratice" his karate with my nephew Rob Bonnough. Having Bobby and Kim over and the fun that they had with Rob and Jen. My prayers are with all those who knew and loved Bobby. He is with all of those and he is waiting to kick Heavens gates open to bring his loved ones to him.

Mary, & family.
I am very sorry. I to feel this loss because, Bob was like a second father to me. Crystal and I were best of friends for so many years, I care for all of you so much and wish that I could some how lift this pain from you. Please take comfort in knowing that you (mary) and Bob were truly the most "In love" couple I have ever met. Bob was a truly devoted father and new grandfather. Know that Bob is in heaven and free from the burden of pain, and know that you two will meet again in heaven.

To Aunt Nancy, Bushia, Kim, and family:
I remember being at Aunt Nancy's house as a kid and Bobby had long hair and a friendly smile. It's too bad that I don't have more memories, but what I remember of Bobby I will hold in my heart. God bless him and family!

To my sister and my nieces: We are so incredibly sorry. Although I had not lived in Ohio for many years, you and Bob and the girls always remained in my memory and in my heart. I am so glad that John was able to meet Bob and that we were fortunate enough to be with him that day in the hospital. There are no words to tell you how sorry we all are, so I will just tell you all once again that we love you very much and that we are always here whenever you need anything. God has a special angel up there with him now, and Mary..he is up there sitting with grandma watching over you all, smiling and finally at peace and out of pain. He will always be alive in our memory. God bless you all.

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Psalms 68:19

Aunt Nancy, Kim,Grandma, and to all my family members - As sad as it is that Bobby died so young, I know from talking to him that he had a relationship with Jesus and knew Him as his Savior. He went straight to Heaven and is at peace. You are in my prayers. Love to you all.

It really feels so unreal! To think that someone I was once close to and thought so much of has left this world is just surreal. There is definitely a whole in the universe where his presence once was. I have so many happy childhood memories that include Bobby - I will treasure those. For his family - wife, children, sister and mom, I pray for your peace at this time. What a horrible loss to suffer. I know he is still with you, looking over you, loving you and waiting for the day you will be together again. God Bless you all!
