Roger Porter Obituary

Roger "PeeWee" E. Porter, age 24, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 20th, 2005, in Flower Hospital after a lifelong illness. He was born March 14, 1981, to Roger and Cindy (Rice) Porter in Toledo. Roger enjoyed visiting the race track and listening to music. He also liked spending time with family and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by grandparents, Harry R. Rice, Sr. and Virginia and Homer Porter.
He is survived by his loving family, including his father, Roger H. Porter; mother, Cindy L. Ventresca and sister, Sadie Porter. He is also survived by his best friend, Jonathan Vanderstelt; dear grandmother and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive guests Friday from 1-6 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 6 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Roger Porter Memorial Fund" c/o National City Bank, Laskey Rd., Toledo.

So sorry for your loss, and even tho I never met his mother or "PeeWee", I've known the Porter Family for years, since we were small children. I pray that GOD will comfort you thru this trying time, and especially the rest of the Holiday Season.
