Ronald was my Godfather. I fondly remember him teaching me how to waterski in Chicago when I was seven years old. That was 60 years ago. I have spoken with him over the years, but the last time we met was in 1996 when my mother, brother and I travelled to Estonia. It was a lovely visit with Thea and Ron. He is missed.

Dr. Kendrick was one of my mentors during my Ophthalmology residency. In addition to teaching medical knowledge and skills, he stressed compassion and understanding toward our patients. It was my pleasure and privilege to have known him.
